As you can see from the multiple paces of bare wood,
there were many dings, nicks and bloody chips in the
enamel that had to be resolved. Now, most people would
just fill and sand them and continue on with the project,
but I didn't want to do that and I have compensated by
sanding out elongated areas to minimize the visibility of
dips in the final presentation.
Today's sanding was with 120g and 180g paper.
Further sanding will resume with something near 300g
to get any remaining deep scratches out before paint.
Of course, there will be sanding between coats of paint
as well for optimal finished product.
